FGSP-500 fingerprint cyanoacrylate fuming chamber
1. Purpose
The chamber is used to develop latent sweat fingerprint on the non-permeable object with Cyanoacrylate gas, it can accurately control the humidity and the concentration of Cyanoacrylate gas in the chamber, and creates the best conditions for the polymerization of Cyanoacrylate gas on the fingerprint ridge.
2. Characteristics
2.1 There is a humidity sensor in the cabinet of the chamber. When the relative humidity in the cabinet reaches 80%, the water heater will stop working. This technique ensures the accuracy of the relative humidity in the chamber.
2.2 The chamber is equipped with activated carbon filter device. After fumigation is completed, the instrument can automatically purify the remained Cyanoacrylate gas in the cabinet.
2.3 Touch screen operation and technical parameters are displayed on the screen. The user can operate the instrument easily by following the instructions on the touch screen.

4. Usage method
4.1 Preparation
4.1.1 Suspend and fix the inspected material on the metal mesh frame with the fixture in the cabinet, or place the inspection material on the metal mesh frame.
4.1.2 Use a disposable syringe to inject 10-15ml of Cyanoacrylate reagent into the heating dish and place the heating dish on the Cyanoacrylate heater。
4.1.3 Add 100-200ml of water into the heating dish and place the dish on the water heater.
4.1.4 Close the cabinet door and switch on the AC power supply of AC220V and 50Hz.
4.2 Operation of the chamber
4.2.1 Starting up
Click the numeric keys to enter the parameters, click “Del” to delete the parameters, click “Esc” to cancel the modification and close the pop-up window, click “Enter” to save the parameters and close pop-up window.
After parameter modification, click [START], the chamber starts to develops fingerprint according to the customized program, and the touch screen enters the interface P2, P3 and P4 successively. When the customized program finish, the touch screen returns to interface P1。
4.2.4 Illumination
When the program is running, click the lighting button [ ] at any time, the lighting in the chamber will turn on, click again, the lighting will go out.
4.2.5 Stop developing program
When the program is running, click [STOP] at any time, the developing program stops, and the touch screen returns to interface P1。
5. Attentions
5.1 The chamber is made of metal shell, and the power supply is AC220V, 50HZ. Power outlets should be checked to ensure that they are fully grounded.
5.2 After 50 fumigation processes, the effect of purifying the Cyanoacrylate will become worse. The stainless steel cover plate in the lower part of the chamber should be opened to replace the activated carbon inside。
5.3 After several fumigation processes, the surface of the humidity sensor will be covered with a layer of Cyanoacrylate, and the accuracy of humidity detection will decrease. Replace the humidity sensor with a new one.
5.4 When the room temperature is lower than 15℃, the Cyanoacrylate gas will quickly condense around the Cyanoacrylate heater. The work of Cyanoacrylate fumigation can’t be carried out in too low temperature environment. The environment temperature of the chamber shall be higher than 20 ° C. The higher temperature, the better effect。
5.5 The effect of Cyanoacrylate on sweat fingerprint is good, but the effect on grease fingerprint is poor. The nature of the fingerprint should be judged before placing the inspected material in the chamber. For fingerprint with large oil content, the developing effect of Cyanoacrylate is not good, the fingerprint can be further developed by iodine fumigation or powder method.
